Angela Louie was a Toastmaster for 20 years. She held many leadership positions including club president, area and division governor and co-chairing the 2009 district conference in Whistler. She earned her Distinguished Toastmaster designation and won many contests and awards including being the first BC Toastmaster to win 3 district (provincial) contests in a row (Table Topics, Evaluation and International) and the first BC Toastmaster to win the Silver medal at the 2005 World Championship of Public Speaking. She also achieved her Accredited Speaker designation in 2017, becoming the 76th person in the world to achieve this.

Angela has delivered keynote speeches at conferences locally and internationally.
