After Ottawa, we had a few days before our trip home. A little stroll through Barrie was very nice.
And no parking fees. Yay!
We headed back to Gravenhurst in the Muskokas because...
...apparently I didn’t read my knitting pattern’s yarn requirements and I didn’t have enough yarn for my project. The yarn I bought was a one-off colourway so there wasn’t more. Back to the yarn studio in Gravenhurst so I could choose a matching colour to blend…whew! I love the result. Crisis averted.
We stayed our last night in Grangeways campground. It was a perfect family summer spot.
I even found some rust and texture here.
Our last visit was with my Uncle Fred and Aunt Kwan in Mississauga. I hadn’t seen them for 15 years. He looks pretty good for 90!
The 75th lap tour was coming to an end. It was a great run!
Cheers and Happy Birthday to my sweetie Allan. More travels to come!
We will definitely get back on the road and your place is on our list! Thanks!
There is an old quote that says, "you can never go home" after your dramatic arrival scare, perhaps you guys should just stay on the road! It was great to see you both on day 2 and you are welcome back any time you like!
Peter
I am one lucky guy to have a lover and friend who enjoys the road as much as I do. I love you Angela. Your skill with the camera coupled with your words are continuing to shine.
